Looking through these beautiful photos has us swooning all over again! We are still pinching ourselves that we got to witness all the magic from this shootout hosted by Mad Shew Media + Mikayla C Photo in person! Check out all the details below along with the talented, kind, wonderful vendors who came together to make it all happen!

Madison + Mikayla’s vision for the shoot: “We knew that we wanted it to have a mix of vintage & modern vibes. The Emerson is a dream venue for photographers across the nation, so we knew we just had to have it there. We were so honored to host people there! Many of the photographers have had inquiries/bookings there since then!”

Overall hope for the workshop: “Our goal was to fulfill our attendees dreams of shooting at the Emerson and for them to have creative freedom after a crazy busy season. Even though it was a hot hot day, we had such a fun time with all of the vendors and creating a place for photographers to make connections and create together. We loved getting to know all of our attendees and see their work from the content day!”

Advice for any vendors hoping to host a workshop/shootout: “Bite the bullet & don't cut costs. It's worth it to create an incredible experience for your attendees, even if that means things cost more. Our vendors were TOP DOLLAR and worth every single penny! Don't skip out on having better vendors just because you're trying to save money/make a profit. It will pay off in the end!”

Another thank you goes to all the photographer + videographer attendees who were a part of all the magic including one of our brides, Katie Liz Photos (check out K + K’s wedding here!) We did not want this dream day to end, but we're so grateful to have so many beautiful photos to hold onto! You are all welcome back to E anytime - we hope we don’t have to wait too long to see you all again!
