Meet Mateo + Micah! We were pretty much swooning all day long over how beautiful they looked as a couple! We loved the green accents dispersed throughout their wedding decor paired with the chic black + white wedding party outfits! Celebrating them just came so easily. We are so grateful we got to be a part of this dream day!
Here’s their love story - “Mateo and Micah's love story began on their very first day of college classes - After sitting next to each other that day at lunch, they quickly became friends, spending time together in the same group throughout their first semester. Mateo knew he wanted to date Micah after only a couple of months (or less), but he waited for the right moment to take her out on their first date. One roommate interrogation and eight months later, he finally took her to the incredibly original spot of Eno's Pizza. Despite broken down cars and questionable Uber drivers wearing motorcycle gloves, Micah continued to agree to go on these dates and in March 2019, Mateo asked her to be his girlfriend. Thus began their official relationship in which they were able to create precious memories and start new traditions, like the yearly lantern festival. Over the years, they faced challenges, one of the most prominent being the long-distance between hometowns. This became particularly difficult during COVID and the time after graduation when they remained 350 miles apart. Despite the distance, their relationship and love continued to grow and they looked forward to what a future together would look like. Finally, in September of 2022, Mateo proposed on a pier in White Rock Lake, to which Micah said YES! They look forward to celebrating the start to this next chapter and building a life together in the same city!”
