DeAnna + Andrew were our first wedding of 2021 at E and it was such a beautiful start to the year! Their story is one of redemption + unconditional love! We were so grateful to host this sweet celebration in our space.
“We met on Bumble (of all places) after both experiencing major heartbreak. Both of us were looking for a shoulder to lean on and, truly, a friend! And that is what we have experienced for the last 2 and a half years. Pure friendship and true unconditional love. Our dating experience was us basically never wanting to leave the other’s side! The most binding and beautiful part is how the Lord mended our wounds and brought us together even more closely through our life experiences. He truly does make beauty from ashes. Serving in our church together also really proved how wonderful life together could be. I always prayed for a man like Andrew, one that protects, laughs, and always looks for the best in others. Andrew is like no one else I’ve ever known and being able to be my authentic self with him is something I could never trade!”
“One of my favorite parts from our wedding was a short moment Andrew and I shared before the ceremony. We kept him blindfolded and we took a moment on the staircase to pray and ease some nerves. Being able to celebrate love after such a chaotic and confusing year was pure joy! One thing remains true, love still prevails even in such a crazy time we live in.”
When we asked D if she had any advice for couples who are currently planning she said, “It is one day! Do not stress yourself out so much that you don’t have fun. As long as you’re with your person at the end of the night it was a success. Something will go wrong, it will! But you will survive and more than likely no one will even know. Remember why you are there!”
