Meet Cierra + Andy! Two of the loveliest (& coolest) people we’ve ever come to know! Their wedding day was breathtakingly gorgeous down to every tiny detail! Not even being dramatic, our hearts skipped a beat whenever we received their gallery (shoutout to Laken Mackenzie Photo)! “Andy and I met through a mutual friend.. the internet. If we had been “typical” college students our paths likely wouldn’t have ever crossed. Andy was a sober college student who didn’t exactly party or visit 6th Street, and I both worked and went to school full time.. so opportunities for meeting people organically were few and slim. I impulsively decided to give Tinder a try, and Andy ended up being my first and last Tinder date! However, I would rather talk about why we’re together than how we came to be together. I couldn’t ask for a better man to spend the rest of my life with. He is my better half and he makes every single one of my days brighter. There have been many moments in our relationship that have confirmed that Andy is my forever person. I know that Andy is the one for me because he isn’t just someone I can have a good time with, we can have bad times too. He is the man I want to cuddle and giggle with on Sunday mornings AND the man I want to clean up dog puke, sit in traffic, and kill roaches with. He’s my biggest fan, my teammate and my partner in disaster and I feel like the luckiest woman in the world to get to call him my husband.”
C + A had us blushing when they let us know what drew them to choosing our venue for such a special day! Above all the aesthetics + design of the space, we truly do long to make every single person who walks through our door to feel loved! Having a cute chapel doesn’t hurt either, we suppose. ;) “We have always loved minimal and modern design (you should see our house). The Emerson had us written all over it from the moment we saw it online, but our decision was cemented once meeting the amazing people that run it. Also, who wouldn’t fall in love with that chapel!”
From beginning to end, wedding days are FULL of so many sentimental + beautiful moments! One of our favorite questions to ask our couples after their wedding day is what were some of the most memorable parts of their big day! Here’s what C had to say - “It’s hard to pick a single moment, from some of our wedding party’s antics, to the first look, the sparkler exit, and Cierra’s Dads touching speech. The entire night was just perfect!”
C’s advice to all those who are planning now was simple, but profound! “Don’t stress about every tiny detail, it’s incredible how much things come together when everyone you love is around helping. Don’t sweat the small stuff! And remember why you are planning it. It’s all about being with your forever person, and not entirely to please everyone else.”
