Meet Megan + Scott! We are still pinching ourselves that we got to be a part of this sweet couple’s best day ever! We loved the vibrancy + color that their flowers + bridesmaid dresses added to our white space. M’s smile all day was so contagious! Their friends + family filled the venue with so much excitement + love! We couldn’t have wished or hoped for a more beautiful day!
Here’s their love story - “We met through a mutual friend who had been wanting to set us up. Once Scott announced he was officially moving to Dallas at the end of 2021, our mutual friend initiated her matchmaking skills, and we met on New Year's Eve 2021. We quickly became friends and after 6 weeks of knowing each other, we started dating! After 8 months of dating, we exchanged "i love yous" by the firepit and took a premarital class soon after. 13 months into dating, he proposed! And about 5 months later we had the sweetest wedding with close family and friends to celebrate our new covenant.”
What drew M + S to choosing The Emerson for their best day - “We loved the chapel setting, and envisioned everyone sitting in pews, so close and intimate. And very white, so simple yet beautiful.”
We loved getting the opportunity to ask M + S what some of their favorite moments were from their wedding day! Here’s what they said - “Scott and I enjoyed the ceremony, taking in all of the moments that we had been anticipating for months, and being surrounded by our favorite people. Taking pictures in the field felt so dreamy, as well as our last dance at the end of the party.”
M had some advice for those who are currently planning for their wedding day + we truly could not agree more! “I would say that details are fun, but not the main focus. Take moments throughout the day to soak it in, because it flies by! And invest in a great photographer!”
