Meet Kaitlyn + Andrew! We couldn’t wished for or dreamed of a more beautiful day to celebrate this sweet couple! We truly gasped whenever we got their gallery back - every detail was so stunning!
Here’s their love story - “Andrew and I first met when we were riding the bus back from Texas A&M's freshman orientation camp, Fish Camp. I was sitting by the window, with my friends sitting in the row behind me. Next thing I know, a cute boy plopped down beside me. We chatted and giggled the whole way back to College Station. He ended up asking for my number and we followed each other on social media. Only issue was I had a boyfriend at the time, so we lost touch for about 5 years. The next time I saw Andrew was when he interviewed at Texas A&M's medical school that I happened to be working at as the Standardized Patient Coordinator. As fate would have it, one of my Standardized Patients was sick that day, so I had to fill in. The schedule had Andrew and I paired to interview together. I panicked and called my boss asking her what to do because I was about to interview a boy I knew. (I conveniently left out that I had a crush on said boy). She told me to change the schedule, so Andrew and I only shared some glances and polite smiles that day. I must have made an impression though because... Fast forward 6 months, out of the blue, I receive a message from Andrew saying "Hey, where are you going to PA school?" I figured he was genuinely just curious, until he carried the conversation on for weeks. He eventually drove from Dallas to Galveston to take me on our first date to Rudy & Paco. We continued driving on the weekends to see each other and the rest is history!”
What drew K + A to choosing The Emerson for their big day - “We love the beautiful chapel! From the tour, we knew the Emerson would fit our vision and color scheme.”
