E + G
Emily + Grant’s wedding was so much FUN! E was so giggly throughout the whole day + every time she walked the space to see how decorating was going she would shout, “this is EVERYTHING!” And it was!!! Their wedding was such a dream day. The details were so thoughtfully designed from the customized signs throughout the venue all the way down to the EPIC dance party during the reception! Check out their story below!
“We met at a ministry event called YoungLives. Emily was the intern working behind the scenes, and I was the guy in the men’s org trying to impress Emily with how many chairs I could carry. After many weeks of me showing up early to talk to Emily, texts, get to know you hang outs (Taco Bell and Subway), a date party, I finally took Emily on our first date to Lake Bryan and First Friday afterwards. We started dating shortly after and have grown more and more in love with each other and Jesus since that day. We dated long distance while I worked in Houston and she did grad school at UNT in Denton (5 hours away). Eventually God opened up a door for me to work here in Dallas and in November of 2019 I moved here. And shortly after on Feb 8, 2020 I proposed to Emily at Lake Bryan where it all began.”
When we asked E + G what drew them to the Emerson, G answered, “Emily had seen weddings here before and she knew this was where we’d be getting married. For me the chapel was the main selling point. Cozy, intimate, and simply beautiful.” We love how they decided to decorate the altar for the ceremony. They rented our Coral Lane White Wooden Cross and The Farmer & I elevated it by adorning the cross in gorgeous, lush florals!
Congratulations E + G! We absolutely adore you + we loved hosting your best day ever! We’re cheering for you always!
The vendors were STELLAR! Tayler Gray Events killed it as always! Thank you Rachel Antigua for these photos!
