Citrus Garden Styled Shoot

Styled shoots hold such a special space in our hearts! It is truly such a treat to watch a team of talented vendors come together under a collective vision to bring it to life! We always leave feeling so grateful + so inspired. This Citrus Garden styled shoot was no different. It gave us the most colorful, summery vibes and we’re so happy with how it all came together!

The inspiration for the shoot: “I have been loving the colorful florals trend and wanted to do a shoot that encompassed that! My sister in law, McKenzie, is such a talented florist and I was so excited to let her have fun with them and create something really beautiful!”

What was one of your favorite parts of bringing this vision to life? “Seeing how well it all worked together and getting to work with some really talented vendor friends again! Everyone that contributed to this shoot is a part of my wedding community, and it was so precious to see them all come together.”

What drew you to choosing The Emerson for your styled shoot? “I always joke that I'm the Emerson's biggest fan! Besides the fact that I personally got married there and love getting to go back and work there as often as I can, the Emerson is truly such a beautiful "blank slate" that fits so many different styles. I feel like every wedding I do there is different! It's so stunning on its own that it needs minimal decorations, but it is still really flexible to fit a multitude of wedding styles. All of the little details throughout the venue are what make it so stunning and unique!”

Any tips for other vendors hoping to host a content day or shoot? “My biggest tip for other vendors wanting to plan a styled shoot is to just go for it! I know it can seem super daunting to find all the vendors and organize everything, but it's honestly so fun to see how everyone always ends up helping each other out so no 1 person is overwhelmed. It really is a great way to build your community within the wedding vendor world and get photos to use for your portfolio that match the style you want to book again and again!”
