Meet Shelby + Hutton! No words could fully express how special this precious couple is! We adored them from the moment they toured with us! They are kind, easy to love, and they were so much fun to celebrate! They didn’t let any of the rain on their wedding day stop them from having the best day ever!
Here’s their love story - “I went to Ole Miss for college, and roomed with Hutton's older sister for a few years! Between holidays and football/baseball seasons there were frequent visits and Hutton and I became good friends over the years. We flirted with the idea of "getting married one day" but It wasn't until the end of my college career that we started dating and I moved to Texas shortly after. If you're hearing his version, he'll tell you that I fell in love with him the first time I saw him play guitar (which is mostly true) but he was definitely the first to say the L word. :) We dated off and on over the years, and like to joke that it took him "a few years to bake" before we started seriously dating. He knew how important both family and home were to me, so he surprised me with an engagement on Thanksgiving day at my parents house!”
What drew S + H to choosing our space for their best day - “We immediately fell in love with The Emerson the first time we looked at it, I audibly said "this is it" before we parked! It checked off all the boxes (chapel, outdoor space for dancing, twinkly lights, minimal.modern vibe, easy to travel to, etc) and we were both at peace with moving forward. We also loved the option to make the space feel like "ours" through Coral Lane rentals! Besides engagement, the easiest "yes" of the process!”
