Meet Kinsey + Indy! On a rainy spring afternoon, this precious couple vowed to spend the rest of their lives together! There was such a tangible sweetness that marked the whole day. Their smiles were so contagious and we just couldn’t get enough of all the thoughtful, minimalist details scattered throughout!
Here’s their love story - “A week before our freshman year, we both came to school early to take a class. On Tuesday, August 13th, 2021, we met through a mutual friend after our class. I remember looking up, seeing Indy, and just being overwhelmed by a feeling of assurance and comfort. From that moment, I was hooked and knew that Indy was my person. Indy had a much less memorable experience and just remembers thinking that I was pretty but seemed shy. In those next few months, we got to know each other more as friends through hanging out in our friend group. Even as our friends changed, I always made an effort to invite Indy and hang out with him. My friends would have probably described me at that point as love sick. At the end of the semester, I began to lose hope and tried to convince myself that Indy would never like me. It was difficult though because we started to spend more time together throughout the break and at the beginning of the Spring semester. Finally, the night after the Superbowl, Indy admitted that he liked me on our way back from my house and I was shocked. The next day we talked more about it and decided to start dating!! That was close to three years ago now and we have just had the best time together!! On August 13th, 2022 (exactly three years after we met), Indy proposed at the Tyler Rose Gardens while we were on a weekend trip!”
What drew K + I to choosing The Emerson - “I had seen the Emerson on Instagram many times and always loved how beautiful it is. As I started seriously considering wedding stuff, I noticed that most of the pictures that I am drawn to were taken at the Emerson. After looking more into it, I felt like it was the perfect option for Indy and I and our visit to the Emerson solidified that!”

Our marquee sign is without a doubt the most iconic rental item in our collection! Each of the venue packages that we offer comes with a “Pick One” perk - which allows our couples to choose between an arch for the ceremony space or our marquee sign! It’s safe to say that the marquee sign is the popular choice. We set it up in front of the house + it’s the first thing that your guests will see as they pull up to the venue! We love to watch our couples get creative with the wording week after week. :)
